CTL Medical is currently seeking a Project Engineer I.

Job Description:

CTL Amedica, a leading patient outcome innovator in spinal fusion surgery products, is seeking a  Project Engineer (Level I) with 1 to 2 years of industry experience in product development, and design control while managing timelines and resources from inception to post-market launch.   Medical device design and development experience is a plus.  This position will entail carrying out Product Prototyping, Testing, Verification, Validation, Usability Engineering, and other product safety and effectiveness ensuring activities.  Our unique opportunity will expand your scope of knowledge while providing hands-on experience in various cross-departmental tasks with the QA/RA/OP/ Marketing/Sales teamwork.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, verify, and validate a range of spinal implants and surgical instruments.

• Efficiently manage design control processes.

• Communicate diligently with internal and external teams for design transfer, manufacturability, procurement,  and production.

• Analyze product feedback and drive continuous product improvement to enhance performance and meet market demands.

• Create detailed product specifications and user instructions.

• Provide expert technical support both internally and to our clients.

• Resolve diverse challenges as they arise in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

• Proficiency in CAD software; experience with CREO is a plus.

• A positive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and timelines.

• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork ethic.

• Knowledge of FEA, CNC, and mechanical testing machines is highly desirable.
